I never would have thought to grow sprouts to eat, but I've seen them sold at leading grocery stores at a pretty penny.

Dirty little secrets

Every one has one or two. The question is, are you willing to tell yours?

I have to say that my secret is that I don't really mop the bathroom. I squirt my cleaner of preference mixed with water and wipe down as I "go".

Happy New Year

A new year always seems to come with great expectations. I don't think that I had any other than the fact that my children will be growing like a weed.

So far the new year has provided to be suprising.

We were the receipents of 15 plus inches of beautifully fluffy snow.
We have started the rolling of a process that I am both frightened yet pleased with.
We are looking at the prospect of my obtaining a job, for income, I haven't worked in 3 years.

Christmas Gatherings

We all are celebrating some sort of holiday, be it Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa, or what have you. When you celebrate a holiday it more often than not means you will be coming together with family and friends to celebrate together.

Yesterday I visited with my family for Christmas. It was wonderful. I spent time talking and enjoying my Grandma, I helped prepare some of the meal, and we enjoyed a different kind of gift exchange; we call "White Elephant".

I brought along some of Amy's yummy Cranberry Spread, which is now a tradition, and some of those adorable snowmen doughnuts from Skip to my Lou.

Although I often feel sad during the holidays, I always feel blessed to be able to spend time with family. Maybe deep down I feel I need to "De-clutter My Christmas".

I hope that what ever you are celebrating, you can do it with loved ones.
